Premier League trio Southampton, Crystal Palace and Cardiff City are reportedly all considering January moves for Roma striker Edin Dzeko.
Dzeko has been in fine goalscoring form for Roma since joining the club from Manchester City in 2015, netting 78 times in 148 appearances across all competitions.
The Bosnian striker has five in nine outings already this term and was on target for his country once again during the international break, leading to further interest in his signature.
Dzeko fuelled speculation that he could return to the Premier League by talking up his "love" for the English game and refusing to rule out playing in the division again.
The Mirror reports that Southampton, Crystal Palace and Cardiff have all been alerted by Dzeko's comments and are weighing up their options ahead of the January transfer window.
All three clubs are among the four lowest scorers in the Premier League this season and are searching for attacking options that could fire them to safety.
Dzeko, who turned down a move to Chelsea in January, spent five years at Man City between 2010 and 2015, scoring 72 goals in 189 appearances and helping the club to two Premier League titles.
