Ronald Koeman is lining up a January move for West Ham United striker Mauro Zarate, according to reports.
Zarate, 27, moved to Upton Park from Velez Sarsfield in the summer, but currently finds himself behind Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho in the West Ham pecking order.
The Argentine's agent has revealed the striker's desire for first-team football, but Sam Allardyce may want to hang on to Zarate as Sakho leaves for the Africa Cup of Nations next month, reports The Mirror.
However, Koeman is keen to ease the burden on Shane Long and Graziano Pelle, and is considering an approach to take the forward on loan in January.
