Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez has extended his contract at the St Mary's Stadium by a further four years.
The 25-year-old, who has been sidelined for the entire season with a knee ligament injury, had reportedly been the subject of interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Liverpool.
However, the one-capped England international has put an end to the speculation by committing to the Saints until the summer of 2019.
"I'm delighted. It's a great club and we've done amazingly this year," he told the club's official website.
"It's been a tough year for myself being out, but I'm really delighted to sign the contract. It's now about looking forward to the future.
"The medical staff have all worked tirelessly with me, so this is great news. I just want to carry on improving now and to try to get some gamete."
Rodriguez joined Southampton from Burnley in 2012 and he has gone on to score 26 goals for the South Coast club.
