Southampton reportedly have no interest in joining the chase to sign Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin.
Ronald Koeman's side were thought to be keen to recruit the 25-year-old by offering £10m to the recently-relegated Championship club.
However, according to the Daily Echo, no bid has been lodged and the south-coastal club have no plans to add Austin to the squad at St Mary's.
Newcastle United, West Ham United and Chelsea have all been linked with swoops for the forward, who recently earned his first senior England call-up.
