Southampton have reportedly decided that they are willing to loan out Sofiane Boufal for the upcoming campaign.
The Saints spent £16m to sign Boufal from Lille in 2016, but the Moroccan has failed to live up to expectations with just three goals coming from 50 Premier League appearances.
Boufal is out of favour with manager Mark Hughes after a disagreement towards the end of last season, and according to The Mirror, that has resulted in the winger being made available for an exit.
The report claims that Nice have indicated that they wish to bring in the attacker on a temporary basis, although it is unclear whether any deal would come with an option to buy.
Boufal still has three years remaining on his contract, which leaves Southampton with some leeway when it comes to recouping their previous outlay.
