Unsettled centre-back Virgil van Dijk has been left out of the Southampton squad for their pre-season trip to France.
The Netherlands international has been training on his own since telling Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino that he wants to leave St Mary's in this summer's transfer window.
Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal have all been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old, but it is understood that Southampton will not sell their prized asset for anything less than £60m.
Pellegrino, who replaced Claude Puel as head coach this summer, is said to be desperate to keep Van Dijk, but the 45-year-old has left the centre-back out of the squad that will travel to France.
Van Dijk joined Southampton from Celtic in the summer of 2015, and has scored seven times in 68 appearances for the Saints since his arrival from Scottish football.
An ankle problem saw the Dutchman miss the final four months of the 2016-17 campaign.
