Spain coach Vicente del Bosque believes that Brazil were "lucky" to beat his side 3-0 in the final of the Confederations Cup on Sunday.
Fred scored a brace and Neymar added a third to win the tournament for the hosts.
Del Bosque told reporters: "They maybe were a little bit lucky with their goals at the start of the first and the second halves.
"But I will not make excuses for our loss. Brazil are the deserved winners and we have to congratulate them."
Del Bosque lost his first final as Spain boss after winning the World Cup in 2010 and the European Championship in 2012.
