Former France captain Marcel Desailly has revealed that he would like Portugal to win Euro 2012.
Desailly, who won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 with France, does not want to see Spain win a third consecutive tournament, and would like to see someone else win the competition. La Roja meet Portugal in the semi-finals and Desailly thinks that the Portuguese could go all the way this year.
"I like Portugal," Desailly told Liquidsportsghana.
"I don't want Spain to win the cup any more because I want to share the victory; we need to have other faces.
"I like Portugal definitely."
The winner of that match will face the victor of the Germany and Italy who meet in the other semi-final on Thursday.
