Andres Iniesta has scooped the player of the tournament accolade at Euro 2012.
The 28-year-old, who has been integral to Spain's success over the last four years, was selected over Andrea Pirlo by a technical committee of 11 people.
The Barcelona star put in a man-of-the-match performance in Spain's 4-0 win over Italy in Sunday's final in Kiev.
Iniesta's individual recognition follows on from Barca teammate Xavi, who was given the nod at Euro 2008.
