Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi has claimed that his Spain debut was a "dream come true" after their 5-1 win over Macedonia on Monday evening.
La Roja cruised to victory in the opening game of their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign, and the 19-year-old explained what it meant to him to make his maiden appearance for Vicente del Bosque's side.
"I never doubted about playing for Spain," he told Teledeporte. "I was born here and I am very happy to have made my debut.
"To play for Spain was my own decision. I knew what it meant (ruling out a future Morocco appearance) to appear for Spain. This is a childhood dream come true."
Spain play Slovakia next on October 9.
