Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has seemingly confirmed that Nolito will be in his XI for their Euro 2016 opener against Czech Republic on June 13.
The Celta Vigo attacker has netted four goals in his last five international appearances for La Roja, but it had initially been unclear whether the 29-year-old would be given a starting spot at the European Championships.
Del Bosque, however, has talked up the importance of Nolito to his plans in France.
"We've brought him because of the season he's had and because he's a specialist on the wing - there aren't many players like him. Defensively speaking he also helps out his full-back and he was one of our best options for the wide positions," Del Bosque told Marca.
Nolito scored 12 La Liga goals in 29 appearances for Celta during the 2015-16 campaign.
