World and European Champions Spain have stuttered to a 2-1 win over Haiti in an international friendly.
The first chance came after five minutes and it fell to Spain, with Fernando Torres volleying wide from a Cesar Azpilicueta cross.
However, it mattered little as three minutes later the European side were ahead when Santi Cazorla drilled an accurate finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Haiti had a chance of their own through Jean-Eudes Maurice, but his shot from inside the box was just wide.
Then on 18 minutes it was 2-0 to Spain. Juan Mata picked out Cesc Fabregas with a superb lofted pass and the Barcelona man headed in to double the lead.
Near the end of the half Cazorla had another chance, but his shot was well kept out by Frandy Montrevil.
Early in the second half Reginal Goreux made a driving run down the right before poking a shot just wide.
Roberto Soldado, on as a substitute, rattled the inside of the post on 72 minutes but all of a sudden Haiti were back in it.
Wildedonald Guerrier drove into the box before firing into the net from a tight angle in the box, with Soldado again hitting the woodwork two minutes later.
However, there were to be no more goals and Haiti came away with a very credible result.
