Emmanuel Adebayor has been thrown out of the Togo squad for next weekend's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Liberia after failing to join up with his country on time.
Kossi Agassa and Floyd Ayite have also been excluded by manager Tom Saintfiet for the same breach of rules.
Togo face Ghana in a friendly on Monday before starting their AFCON qualifying campaign against Liberia on June 14.
"I have no problem with the players as individuals," Saintfiet told BBC Sport. "It's their choice not to come to the hotel, not to be part of the group, and that makes the choice for me very easy to say these players are now not able to be part of the national team."
Adebayor recently insisted that he is happy at Tottenham Hotspur following speculation over his club future.
