Dele Alli: 'England debut at Wembley would be dream come true'

Teenage midfielder Dele Alli says that it would be "surreal" and "a dream come true" if he was to make his senior England debut at Wembley on Friday.

Tottenham Hotspur starlet Dele Alli has said that it would be a "dream come true" to make his England debut tomorrow night against Estonia at Wembley.

Alli has wasted no time in breaking into the Spurs first team this season after joining the North London outfit from MK Dons and his midfield performances earned him a first senior England call-up.

The 19-year-old has never played at the national stadium but could do so for the first time in a Three Lions shirt in tomorrow's Euro 2016 qualifier.

"I haven't played at Wembley yet, it would be a dream come true to play there for England," Alli told the Football Association's website.

"I went to watch MK at Wembley in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy years ago. They won it, so I only have good memories so far.

"It would be surreal (to play at Wembley). I'm really looking forward to it, to the challenge. I'll just keep working as hard as I can in training and hopefully I can get some minutes on Friday."

Alli has played in seven of Tottenham's eight Premier League matches this season and scored his first goal for the club in August against Leicester City.
