MK Dons have confirmed that Dele Alli will be out of action for the next six weeks.
The 18-year-old, who agreed a move to Tottenham Hotspur in January before being loaned back to the League One club, sustained an ankle injury during last Tuesday's clash against Colchester United.
Following an initial assessment by the Dons' medical team, Alli will now receive further treatment at White Hart Lane.
Alli has scored 14 goals from his 36 appearances for Karl Robinson's side this season.
