Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane has appeared to sustain a hamstring injury against Southampton on New Year's Day.
During the second half of the Premier League clash at St Mary's, Kane injured himself when finding the back of the net, only for the goal to be subsequently ruled out by VAR.
However, the effort to find an equaliser for his team came at a cost as the club's top goalscorer clutched his hamstring before making his way off the pitch.
While the England international may have already been missing from the trip to Middlesbrough in the FA Cup, the 26-year-old could have to spend an extended spell on the sidelines.
Spurs are scheduled to take on Liverpool in the Premier League on January 11, a game which is followed by fixtures against Watford and Norwich City by January 22.
