Everton midfielder Ross Barkley could reportedly be on the sidelines for six weeks with a hamstring injury.
The England international has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur after failing to agree terms on a new contract at Goodison Park.
Manager Ronald Koeman reiterated numerous times that Barkley would be leaving this summer, but the Dutchman recently revealed that no offers have come in for the 23-year-old.
Reports have claimed that Everton want £50m, while Tottenham value Barkley at around £25m as he has just one year left on his contract.
According to BBC Sport, a deal may not be agreed after all due to fears that the midfielder will be out of action for six weeks after picking up a hamstring problem in training this week.
The academy product had only recently returned from groin surgery.
