Andre Villas-Boas has dedicated Tottenham Hotspur's first win at St Mary's to club administrator Alex Carroll.
Carroll's mother recently passed away after losing her fight with cancer.
"He is a person that represents a lot to the team so we wish him the best and hope he recovers from his great loss," said the Spurs manager.
Tottenham had previously failed to score in each of their last five visits to Southampton.
