Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas is looking for his side to respond after the defeat to West Ham United two weeks ago.
Villas-boas takes his team to Aston Villa on Sunday and he admits that everyone was "disappointed" with the result before the international break.
"West Ham was a pity for us," Villas-Boas told Tottenham's official website. "We had the opportunity to be first, that's why everybody felt disappointed.
"I think it shows how the league is this season, so tight and unpredictable, anything can happen in a week and change dramatically, so we understand that we needed to do better.
"We have already got together with the team to go through the mistakes and we want to give a good response at Villa."
Tottenham take on Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon as they look to avoid going three games without a win following the West Ham defeat and a draw at home to Chelsea before that.
