Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson has described today's meeting with Everton in the Premier League as "massive".
Both top-four hopefuls face off at White Hart Lane this afternoon knowing that a win would see them remain within touching distance of fourth-placed Liverpool in the table.
Spurs sit sixth in the standings, one point adrift of Roberto Martinez's men - six behind the Reds - and Dawson claims that a victory is vital if they are to stay in the hunt for a passage to Europe's elite competition.
"It's a massive game," the centre-half told the club's official website.
"Everton are a point ahead, so it's a game we need to win, against a team fighting for a place in the top four.
"If we can win against Everton, it will put us in a good position but there is plenty of football still to be played."
The encounter in North London is scheduled to kick off at 1.30pm.
