Tottenham Hotspur forward Clint Dempsey has praised Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes ahead of their clash in the Premier League.
Dempsey played for Hughes during his time at Fulham and the American spoke highly of the QPR boss.
"He did a good job of treating everybody equally," said Dempsey.
"He also showed in training that he could still score a goal!
"There were no favourites and that is what I liked about him as a manager."
Dempsey moved to Spurs on transfer deadline day for £6m and admitted that the move almost left him with tears of joy.
He recalled: "I almost wanted to break down in tears I was so happy."
