Christian Eriksen believes that Tottenham Hotspur have a realistic chance of winning the Premier League title this season.
The Danish playmaker has admitted that qualifying for the Champions League, something that Spurs have narrowly failed to do in the last two campaigns, remains the club's priority.
However, he feels that the Lillywhites have a squad capable of achieving more than that, and has insisted that they will not settle for a top-four finish if they are still in title contention towards the end of this term.
"It's realistic," he told reporters. "We're up there. We want to go in the top four and we have the team to try to become number one. Everyone would be satisfied with the Champions League next year but if we're in the top four, we're going to go for first."
Eriksen has scored once in eight appearances for Spurs since joining in an £11.5m move from Ajax.
