The Football Association are reportedly ready to approach Harry Redknapp in the next two weeks over the vanacant England job.
The Tottenham Hotspur boss is the favourite to take to role following Fabio Capello's resignation in February.
However, West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson is also expected to be contacted, according to the Daily Mail.
The FA are thought to be keen on scrapping the £6m-per-year contract that Capello was under during his four-year tenure.
