Ezekiel Fryers has pulled out of the England Under-21 squad for Wednesday night's 2015 European Championship qualifier against Wales.
The 21-year-old featured for the entirety of Tottenham Hotspur's 1-0 victory over Cardiff City yesterday afternoon.
However, he has picked up an unspecified injury which will prevent him from turning out for the Three Lions at Under-21 level for the first time.
So far, manager Gareth Southgate has opted against picking a replacement for the former Manchester United defender.
