Netherlands boss Danny Blind has revealed that Vincent Janssen lost 20 minutes of his memory after getting clattered into by Belgium goalkeeper Simon Mignolet during Wednesday night's friendly.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker felt the end of Mignolet's punch when the keeper cleared an aerial ball into the box during the 1-1 draw at the Amsterdam ArenA.
Janssen, who was taken off with concussion and replaced by Bas Dost, is now a major doubt for his country's World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg on Sunday.
The injury could also affect the striker's availability for Tottenham's Premier League game against West Ham United at White Hart Lane on November 19.
"Vincent Janssen is going to be a very difficult story," Blind told reporters. "The physician told me it is a concussion. He lost 20 minutes of his memory, and doesn't know what happened. We have to be careful with that and talk it through."
Janssen has scored three goals - all from the penalty spot - in all competitions this season for Spurs.
