Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to hand Tanguy Ndombele a second chance to prove his worth to the Premier League club.
Ndombele joined Spurs in a club-record move from Lyon last summer but has found it difficult to impress during his first season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Mourinho publicly criticised the 23-year-old in the aftermath of the 1-1 draw with Burnley in February, and it had been suggested that the Portuguese could attempt to move him on this summer.
However, according to the Daily Star, the Tottenham manager is still confident that the former Amiens youngster can be a 'genuine force' at the club and will hand him the chance to prove his worth during pre-season.
The France international was linked with a number of clubs ahead of the 2019-20 campaign before eventually joining Spurs in a £54m deal.
Ndombele has contributed two goals and four assists in 27 appearances at club level this term.
