Harry Kane has thanked Zinedine Zidane for claiming that the Tottenham Hotspur striker is "a complete player".
The England forward has been in fine form so far this season with 15 goals for club and country since the start of September.
Kane has been linked with the likes of Zidane's Real Madrid and, although the Frenchman refused to comment on speculation prior to their 1-1 draw with Spurs in midweek, he was eager to lavish compliments upon the 24-year-old.
"I always feel there is stuff I can improve on, I think I will never stop trying to do that," Kane told Sky Sports News in response.
"It's a great compliment and one that for me I can take as a positive and take in my stride and use it as confidence.
"For me, I will always try to keep working on stuff I never feel you can always be the best but you can keep working on things and that what I am trying to do."
Up next for Kane is a Premier League encounter with Liverpool at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
