Tottenham Hotspur's Erik Lamela has claimed that he does not know why he has suddenly had a turnaround in form.
The Argentine had a dismal two seasons at White Hart Lane following his club-record £30m switch from Roma.
There were reports that Spurs were willing to offload Lamela in the summer for a fraction of the price that they paid in 2013, but the 23-year-old stayed put and has scored twice in his last two games.
"I don't know what has changed," Sky Sports News quotes Lamela as saying. "I am working hard every day to find my best.
"The team helps me and I want to help the team. I don't know [if it is because I am more settled]. I need to keep working, keep working hard every day. I am always wanting to help my team."
Spurs will take on Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium this weekend.
