Hugo Lloris has revealed that he wants talks with new club Tottenham Hotspur to clarify his position when he returns from international duty this week.
The French goalkeeper is thought to be disappointed with comments made by Andre Villas-Boas last week confirming that Brad Friedel is his first-choice keeper.
Lloris was asked about his manager's comments following France's 1-0 win in Finland on Friday.
He replied: "Obviously it's never nice but we'll see when we return on Wednesday.
"When I join up with the national team I concentrate uniquely and we'll see about my personal situation when I go back."
Spurs travel to the Madejski Stadium in their next Premier League match to play Reading on Sunday, September 16.
