Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has claimed that he did not need much convincing to sign a new long-term deal with the London outfit.
The Frenchman was linked with a move away from White Hart Lane earlier this summer, but such speculation was ended when he signed a new contract with the club.
"The decision was made before the World Cup," he told Sky Sports News.
"I had some good chats with the chairman about the ambition and future of the club.
"The conditions were good for me. We found an agreement and I'm happy for that. It was about ambition, definitely, not money."
Lloris was heavily linked with French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
