Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris believes that his hard work during training has helped him feature for Spurs on a more regular basis.
The French stopper was only a substitute when he first arrived at the club and while he has admitted to being surprised at not featuring for the first team, he has insisted that he always trained to his maximum level.
Lloris told L'Equipe: "When we negotiated the transfer, I did not expect to be second choice. I adapted and tried to earn playing time.
"I have enough perspective to make sense of things. I've never asked about my situation. In training, I give my maximum."
The 25-year-old has started in his side's last five games.
