Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has admitted it was important that he adapted quickly to life in England.
Lloris left France for the first time in his career to move to Spurs last summer, and while revealing that the first couple of months wasn't ideal, the French captain has insisted that it was imperative that he got used to life at White Hart Lane.
The 26-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It was a big step in my career and it was very important to have a good adaptation in my life but also in football.
"I have enjoyed this season. It is true that it was not easy at the beginning, but after it was better."
The former Lyon stopper has made 28 appearances for Spurs this season.
