Mousa Dembele has insisted that three games without a victory has not affected the confidence in the Tottenham Hotspur squad.
After starting the season with a defeat to Manchester United, Mauricio Pochettino's side have lost leads in draws against Stoke City and Leicester City in the last two weeks.
However, Dembele claims that Spurs are heading in the right direction as they prepare for Saturday's meeting with Everton at White Hart Lane.
"I feel very confident, to be honest – everybody is very focused at the moment," the Belgian midfielder told the club's website. "We're disappointed about the results but we're not disappointed about the way we've played for the most part.
"There have been a few bits in our matches that we need to improve on but in general we're very positive and we have a lot of confidence to produce a good result against Everton.
"Of course, we mustn't make the same mistakes that we did in our recent games, but in a way it's better that we've done this at the beginning of the season because we've learned from it and we won't make the same errors again."
Spurs beat Everton 1-0 when the two sides last met on the final day of last season.
