Everton manager David Moyes has hailed Louis Saha as the best player he has worked with during his ten years at the club.

Saha came on as a substitute during Tottenham Hotspur's 1-0 loss to the Toffees on Saturday and almost got a late equaliser for the North London side.

Despite the Frenchman's time at Goodison Park being dogged by injuries, Moyes believes that Saha outstrips the likes of Wayne Rooney and Thomas Gravesen as the best player he has had at Everton.

"Arguably [he is] probably the best player I have ever worked with, Louis Saha. [He's] the best talent I've ever had," said the Scot.

"Probably Wayne [Rooney] would be the one who comes close and I've got to say Thomas Gravesen would be close to that as well but Louis Saha was right up there.

"He's got great ability, some of the things he could do with a football were magnificent. We enjoyed Louis and I think the time was right for Louis, I think it was right for Everton and it gave him a chance to move on."

Saha scored 35 goals in 115 appearances for Everton during his four-year spell at the club.
