Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Naughton has admitted that Jermain Defoe will be missed when he leaves the club on Friday for Toronto FC.
The 31-year-old has played his last game for Spurs after being ruled out of Thursday's Europa League clash against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
Defoe joins Toronto at the end of the week having agreed a deal with the MLS side during the January transfer window.
"He's been great for us and he's scored loads of goals," Naughton is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"He's great to play with, giving it to him and letting him do his business. He was a fans' favourite and one of the best finishers I've come across. He will be missed."
Defoe has scored 143 goals for Tottenham during two separate spells at White Hart Lane.
