Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that his job is at risk unless he can spark an upturn in fortunes at White Hart Lane.
Spurs slumped to their fifth defeat of the Premier League season with a 2-1 reverse at home to Stoke City - a result that leaves Pochettino's side 12th in the table.
"In football you always need time to implement different methods but we need to improve quickly because you never have a long time in football," he told reporters.
"You need to get results and we need to find a solution quickly. My challenge in the next few weeks is to change the mentality and to find that solution."
First-half goals from Bojan Krkic and Jonathan Walters proved enough for the Potters, who saw their lead halved when Nacer Chadli bagged a 76th-minute consolation.
The Argentine, who swapped Southampton for Tottenham in the summer, is the club's third manager since the end of the 2011-12 season, following on from Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood.
