Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has heaped praise on his side's character ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.
Spurs have edged past Fulham, Watford and Newcastle United in their last three league games to keep touch with Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the table.
The London outfit could temporarily move to within two points of second-placed City with a win over Leicester at Wembley this afternoon, and Pochettino has been impressed with how his side have ground out results of late.
"I am running out of ways to praise my team for their character following another big win against Newcastle United last weekend. For the third time in as many games the players dug deep, believed in themselves and found a way to win late in the match," Pochettino wrote in his programme notes.
"In all of our last three games it has been fantastic to see the celebrations erupt and shared between the players and [the fans]. They are special moments and give you a feeling like nothing else. The players take confidence from the crowd and [their] support will be a big factor again as we look to continue our good form with our next two matches here at Wembley.
"The win over the Magpies was our 19th of the season and continues to keep us within touching distance of the teams at the top of the table. Our focus remains the same though and we concentrate only on ourselves and the game in front of us."
Spurs ran out 2-0 winners in the reverse fixture at the King Power Stadium in December.
