Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated that he continues to have faith in goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
On Saturday night, Lloris was criticised on social media for his decision-making in the 3-1 defeat to Manchester City, and the Frenchman had previously been at fault for goals conceded in recent games against Chelsea and Stoke City.
However, Pochettino has claimed that his long-time number one is "doing fantastic" and has no concerns over the stopper's form ahead of the remainder of the season.
At a press conference, the 46-year-old told reporters: "For me Hugo Lloris is, from the day that we arrive here, improving every season. For me today he is one of the best keepers in the world and for me there's no doubt, but you know the perception, sometimes you need to respect the people's perception.
"I don't know, because I don't read [it], but for me Hugo Lloris is doing fantastic, for me he is one of the best keepers in the world and for me there is no doubt about him."
Lloris has made 249 appearances for Spurs since joining the North London outfit in 2012.
