Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is confident that his squad can cope with a run of six games across 17 days, which starts with Fiorentina in the Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is confident that his squad can cope with the prospect of six games over the next 17 days.

Spurs' fixture pile-up starts with a home Europa League tie against Fiorentina on Thursday and also includes a Capital One Cup final date against Chelsea.

Pochettino has a fully-fit squad at his disposal and is prepared to rotate throughout Tottenham's busy period, which he is pleased is a marker than they are still competing across several fronts at this stage of the season.

"This is our 42nd official game tomorrow in seven months," he told reporters. "It's important to manage the squad and always analyse after the games each case and each player. And after to be clever and select the best player to play in each game.

"For me, I prefer to play every three days because it's a good sign we are in all competitions. We have a strong squad for playing in the Europa League, Premier League and the final of Capital One Cup against Chelsea. I am happy.

"There is not a special worry about that. All the squad are fit and we are in a very good way."

Spurs also play Fiorentina again, West Ham United, Swansea City and Queens Park Rangers during this period.
