Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that he is unsure as to whether or not he wants to take over England.
Redknapp has been widely tipped to take over from Fabio Capello, who resigned from the role last month.
Despite being the reported frontrunner for the position, Redknapp has admitted that he would find it difficult to leave his job with Spurs.
"I'm not sure," Redknapp told L'Equipe when asked if he would like to manage England. "I have a very good job at Tottenham and I like it. But I do not know. We will wait and see.
"When you have a club, [if] you are looking for a striker, you take them. When you're [national] coach, you must do with the players you have in your country.
"If you do not have a good scorer, you don't have one. And you almost never see the players. Two days every two months, it is very difficult."
Redknapp became Spurs boss in 2008.
