Harry Redknapp has described last night's north London derby as "a real classic".

The clash saw Spurs come back from 3-1 to hold Arsenal to a 3-3 draw at White Hart Lane.

"It was a great game to be involved in. You saw two teams play some unbelievable football tonight," Redknapp told the BBC afterwards. "Arsenal started so bright and we were struggling to live with them because of their movement and passing ability.

"But we stuck in there… it looked like it was all over at 3-1. Then we came back 3-2 and in the end could have won the game."

The Spurs manager went on to praise Arsenal as "an amazing football team" and insisted that he was pleased with the draw, which keeps Tottenham two points outside of the top four.

"I don't go home disappointed tonight," he added. "I go home thinking 'what a great group of players I'm lucky to work with'.

"This is a club that will be, should be, every year pushing for that top four and pushing to win the Championship eventually."

Spurs go on to face West Brom this Saturday at home. Kickoff is at 15.00.
