Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has said that he is "thankful" for the team's late goal against Stoke City last night.
Redknapp, whose side were behind after 15 minutes of first-half action when Cameron Jerome found the back of the net, admits that he would have taken a point when his side were still trailing with four minutes to go.
"We had a couple of good chances in the first half, but couldn't finish," he said. "In the end we were thankful for Rafa's goal.
"With four minutes to go it's a good point. With 90 to go it's a bad point. We'd have taken a point with four minutes to go, for sure.
"It might be a vital point at the end of the season. We need to go on a little run now, we need to pick ourselves up and pick up a few positive results."
Meanwhile, Redknapp has admitted that he lied to his side during his half-time team talk.
