Tim Sherwood has reportedly been identified as one of the candidates to take charge of West Bromwich Albion during the summer, should the Black Country club opt to dispose of Pepe Mel's services.
It is widely expected that Sherwood will be relieved of his Tottenham Hotspur managerial duties at the end of the season, with Louis van Gaal and Mauricio Pochettino mooted as potential successors.
However, the 45-year-old may not be out of work too long, having impressed officials from West Brom, according to the London Evening Standard.
Spaniard Mel has only been at The Hawthorns helm since January of this year, but speculation has claimed that he will leave the struggling Baggies, regardless of what division the club is in.
