Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo confirms that Tanguy Ndombele will not feature against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed that Tanguy Ndombele will not feature against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

The former Lyon man did not play a single minute of pre-season football for Tottenham, with Santo explaining that it was not "the right moment" for Ndombele to feature.

However, the Frenchman is yet to take to the field in a competitive game under Santo either, and his wait for action in the 2021-22 season will continue for a little while longer.

Speaking to the media ahead of his reunion with Wolves, Santo said: "I can be completely honest with you, Tanguy is not going to be involved in the squad on Sunday."

The Portuguese did not elaborate on Ndombele's absence, but the midfielder is supposedly considering his future at the club as he remains out of contention. body check tags ::
