Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to promote Tim Sherwood to director of football.
Sherwood was appointed as assistant first-team coach in November 2008, before switching to the youth development role of technical co-ordinator in 2010.
Following the sacking of Harry Redknapp on Thursday morning, the majority of the former manager's backroom staff are expected to exit White Hart Lane.
However, Sherwood is likely to stay on and work closely with Redknapp's replacement in an executive capacity, according to The Sun.
Andre Villas-Boas is currently the favourite to become the next manager of Spurs. The Portuguese is priced at 4/7 with Skybet.
