Premier League trio Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are all reportedly keeping tabs on Feyenoord manager Arne Slot.

Both Spurs and Palace are on the hunt for a new permanent head coach after parting company with Antonio Conte and Patrick Vieira respectively last month.

Tottenham have decided to place assistant coach Cristian Stellini in charge until the end of the season as they search for a long-term successor, while Roy Hodgson has returned to Palace on a short-term deal.

As for West Ham, David Moyes has come under intense scrutiny this season with the Hammers embroiled in a relegation dogfight, sitting 14th in the Premier League table and just three points above the drop zone.

Moyes has received plenty of backing from the West Ham board this term, but The Times reports that the club's hierarchy are considering a change in the dugout even if the Scotsman keeps his side in the Premier League and wins the Europa Conference League.

The same report states that the Hammers, Spurs and Palace have all identified 44-year-old Slot as a potential managerial candidate ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

Slot has only been a senior manager for the last four seasons following an 18-year professional playing career in his native Netherlands, which started and ended with boyhood club PEC Zwolle.

In his first season in management in 2019-20, Slot steered AZ Alkmaar into a title race with perennial Eredivisie winners Ajax before the campaign was curtailed due to the coronavirus pandemic, with Ajax awarded the title despite sitting level on points with AZ at the summit after 25 matches.

Slot was then abruptly sacked by AZ on December 5, 2020 after holding secret negotiations over the Feyenoord vacancy, which he eventually took just 10 days after his dismissal at AZ.

The Dutchman has since gone from strength to strength during his time in the dugout with Feyenoord, following up last season's third-placed finish and Europa Conference League final outing with an Eredivisie title charge this term.

Feyenoord have won 20, drawn seven and lost only one of their 28 Eredivisie matches this season, with Slot's side currently leading the way at the summit and sitting eight points clear of reigning champions Ajax with just six games remaining.

Spurs, West Ham and Palace are all said to be looking for a young, progressive coach, and Slot's style of management is believed to fit their profile.

Slot was linked with a possible move to Leeds United earlier this year, before publicly ruling himself out of the running by stating that he would "stay" with Feyenoord for the rest of the season.

The Dutchman is under contract at De Kuip until the summer of 2025 and is understood to have a release clause in his deal which becomes active in 2024. body check tags ::
