Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Walker has admitted that Mauricio Pochettino's training regime was "horrible" when the Argentine first took over at White Hart Lane.
The North London outfit have transformed into Premier League title contenders as they are currently second in the table, five points behind leaders Leicester City with four games left to play.
The team have been praised for their performances on the pitch, but Walker has revealed that Pochettino's methods were tough to grasp after he was appointed in 2014.
"I'm not going to lie, at the start it was horrible," Walker said in an interview with The Telegraph. "Horrible. When you reach the first team as a professional, it's kind of like, 'If you want go and do gym, do gym. If you don't, you don't have to'. But when he came in, gym was compulsory."
Tottenham's next game is against West Bromwich Albion on Monday.
