Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock believes that his side showed Tottenham Hotspur too much respect during their 3-1 defeat at White Hart Lane.
The R's were 2-0 down at half-time thanks to goals from Gareth Bale and Rafael van der Vaart.
Rangers got a goal back after the break from Jay Bothroyd, but they were ultimately undone by another Bale strike.
"We gave them a game in the second-half," Warnock told Sky Sports News. "[At half-time] we said 'let's try to get the next goal'.
"We probably respected them a bit too much in the first half.
"It was nice to see them get a bit figdgety on the bench at 2-1."
The defeat has left the Loftus Road club in 12th place in the Premier League table.
