Tottenham Hotspur defender William Gallas believes that the North London side are well positioned to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
Spurs are unbeaten in eight league matches ahead of their trip to Fulham on Sunday and have a game in hand on most of their opponents.
Gallas believes that the current squad will be challenging near the top of the table and for trophies at the end of the season.
"The squad is stronger this year," said Gallas. "We believe we can finish in the top four and maybe win something.
"You never know in football. Everyone is talking about Manchester City. They are doing well, but I think we have to believe in ourselves and try to win every game and at the end of the season we will see."
The 34-year-old joined Tottenham from London rivals Arsenal in 2010 and has gone on to make 27 appearances.
The French defender made his first appearance of the season in Tottenham's 1-0 defeat to Rubin Kazan in the Europa League on Thursday.
