Tottenham lineup vs. Ipswich: Predicted XI for Premier League clash after triple injury scare

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Ipswich Town.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou is hopeful of having a near-identical squad at his disposal for Saturday's Premier League clash with Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

The Australian oversaw a 1-0 triumph over an ailing Manchester United outfit last weekend, albeit one that came at a bit of a cost, as Kevin Danso, Son Heung-min and Rodrigo Bentancur were all taken off in the second half.

However, Postecoglou affirmed at full time that the trio were only nursing minor knocks and should therefore be fine to go again on Saturday, where Timo Werner might also return from a hamstring problem.

As a result, Tottenham only have five guaranteed absentees at this moment in time, as Richarlison (calf), Dominic Solanke (knee), Micky van de Ven (thigh), Cristian Romero (thigh) and Radu Dragusin (ACL) remain in the infirmary.

If Danso can shake off his minor concern as expected, the Austrian ought to comprise part of an unchanged rearguard, as the rejuvenated Djed Spence keeps Destiny Udogie at bay and Ben Davies continues at the back to offer Archie Gray an extended rest.

James Maddison has often had to fight his way into Tottenham's starting lineup this season, but the Englishman is sure to reprise his midfield role on Saturday following his winner versus the Red Devils.

Mikey Moore and the fit-again Wilson Odobert are waiting in the wings in case Son does not make the cut, but the South Korean seemingly has a strong chance of being passed fit to start alongside Mathys Tel and Dejan Kulusevski up front.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Vicario; Porro, Danso, Davies, Spence; Bergvall, Bentancur, Maddison; Kulusevski, Tel, Son
